Prickly Pear Cactus - Opuntia phaeacantha /engelmannii

A good addition to your gutload, in moderation - contain a good amount of calcium, but Older pads, flowers and fruits are fairly high in oxalic acid (younger pads less so). Also provide Potassium, Vitamin C and Magnesium, and a little niacin.

In about a cup (150g) would provide roughly:
