Experiencing a heavy heart after finding my girl Kiri passed away. I checked on her this morning, as I always do, expecting to see her on her basking branch. Didn’t see her there, looked through her plants and down at her laying bin with no signs…only to find her hanging lifeless to the right...

I definitely make sure her dripper stays full🤗

Update on Kiri: The day after her vet visit, her bloodwork came back with her having a systemic infection. They immediately had us come back in, gave us 15 doses of pre-drawn injectable syringes of the antibiotic Ceftazidime to give her every other day. I’m happy to say that our girl is doing...

The guess I was given was on here, and the vet says they think the same, is she’s around 4 months.

I think their concern is she stopped eating a week ago. Although I kept putting feeders in there for her, dusted and gut loaded, she refused to eat any of them. She only weighed 2 grams today.

Her X-rays came back showing a lot of gas in her stomach, so the medication is also supposed to help with her gut microbes/bacteria. They’re giving her a vitamin shot with a, b, c, and e, and sending me home with a liquid supplement to get some calories in her because she’s so thin. She also...

Unfortunately no. With her refusing to eat, her stomach is pretty empty. But the vet is planning to send me home with dewormer, just in case, along with a few other things. I’m waiting for the time being for her to come back in here and tell me the results.

Kiri is at her first vet visit, due to her refusing to eat. They’re running bloodwork and did x-rays. Our girl could use all the good vibes for a positive outcome🥺. Attached a photo, she’s clearly not happy with me🫣.

So I lowered the feeder and she still doesn’t seem interested, I even added smart worms to see if that would get her attention. She’s still moving from her basking branch and UVB branch, and is still drinking. I did order a new feeder , that just got here today, hopefully it will help entice...

Hi everyone! We recently moved our girl Kiri to her larger 2’x2’x4’ enclosure, about 2 weeks ago, and it seems like she’s not really eating as much as she did in her smaller enclosure. She explores plenty, alternates from her basking branch and UVB branch, and I’ve seen her drinking from her...

Added a few more branches. We also added a thin sheet of plexiglass to the outside of the left side, and a tropical leaf polyester background to the outside of the plexiglass. Figured we’d girl her a little more coverage to feel safer.
