Montium egg laying

I have a gravid female T. montium and I think she's getting ready. The last time I had a montium lay on me I gave her a good-size egg laying bin but she ended up laying all the eggs under some moss on the bottom of her enclosure. Does anyone have experience with this species or any recommendations on how to make this process easy on her? I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Yep, this species will use a laying bin. I use a soil/sand mix with just enough moisture so that tunnels won't collapse.

Thanks Chris. Do they typically lay in a fairly shallow tunnel? That pic makes it look like they only dig just below the surface to lay, which would explain why my last one laid in moss even when provided with a laying bin.

thanks Showjet. Keep in touch and let me know when your Montiums hatch out. Maybe we can trade out a few and keep those bloodlines diverse.
