Knew I'd probably need additional fruit flies (my own cultures not keeping up with demand). So I ordered them. Should have arrived Wednesday. Shipment came Thursday instead, and the container held only half a dozen flies, a totally inadeuqate amount of medium (didnt even cover the bottom of the container), and no maggots (not surprising, given the lack of medium and flies). Pisses me off! The company will of course refund my money. But still POd.
Ordered a thousand three-week old crickets, and a thousand five-weekers. Should have arrived Tuesday. STILL not here. Pisses me off! I very much doubt in this case Im going to get any compensation either. Perhaps serves me right for buying from the local pet shop (because they gave me such a good price) instead of my normal online suppliers. Which reduces my PO not one bit.
Good thing I do breed a fair number of bugs, which will hold me over. If I were totally dependant on these shipments, I'd be in a lot of trouble with all the babies to feed.
