August Eats

This is what my 4 male panther chameleons ate during the month of August 2009. Usually they do all get offered and eat about the same amounts, but when some eat a little more or less than others, I use an average for this log. In most cases my females had roughly the same amount or a bit less.

All crickets, kingworms (aka superworms), roaches, grasshoppers, terrestrial isopods (aka pill bug, rollie pollie, wood sow), and mealworms are gutloaded with fruits and vegetables, plus a home made dry mix. See here for more details about the gutload. Stick insects are fed primarily blackberry bramble. Butterworms and moths are not gutoaded. Mantids eat all of the above plus flies.
