Have you ever had 2 reptiles get a long, and grow together?
Hi! I’m Austin, and I got a veiled chameleon: Oscar, 2 years ago. Since I’ve had Oscar, life has been amazing! He makes me feel so happy! And why not expand the love?
I got my baby Green Basilisk: Roo, on Underground Reptiles, awhile back. He got here fast, and I was excited, when he got here he almost jumped out of my window if it wasn’t for my friend, who caught him. Since then, for safety I had mesh put around the cage. Which didn’t last long, he got out and went into my chameleons cage! (Which is attached, but separated.) And Oscar simply didn’t care, so I allowed Roo to go with Oscar, and it’s beautiful to know how much the little guy has grown. I know this isn’t smart for most reptiles but, he is a free roamer, in my room. He usually climbs the blanket on my wall to get as high as he can, or in other spots. (I don’t recommend free roam for most lizards, due to their lack of ability to keep themselves warm.)But keeping them, somewhat together is interesting, it’s been an overall amazing experience to let Roo grow with a big brother, and sister!
