I read a closed thread a little while ago posted by a brand-new member(they joined today) asking for advice about keeping their sister's cats away from their chameleon because one got eaten. I couldn't ascertain if this was a child or young person. They did not post anything beyond their original request for help (not that I blame them after the response they got from many of the members). There are many young people participating on this venue and they need answers...not the kind of verbal chastising this member got. Do I believe all reasonable caution should be exercised to protect vulnerable animals from predatory animals? Yes!
Do I also have enough life experience to know that accidents happen?Yes! They obviously don't want a repeat or they wouldn't have sought advice from this community. For those of you who don't have as many years of life to teach you.....what goes around comes around. The attitude of some of the people that I observed today is why I was a member for over 2 years before I ever wrote a post. I have some very nice chams but I don't post pictures because I love them and I don't want them picked to pieces. For those of you who feel a constant need to critique ....please find another place to vent your spleen and let the rest of us enjoy this forum.
