Changing Lighting Schedules...

So I have a question for all of you...

When you change your lighting due to longer or shorter daylight, do you take as many day to get it right as I do? I have a great plan and think I execute it well, but every day something else is just not right. I think I've got it now, but it is just going off a bit too early. In a week or so it will probably be perfect, but will I leave it alone 'till then?

No, I'll switch it around, mess it all up, and then wish I wrote down what it was before I changed it...

Its a vicious cycle .

Do any of you go through this? (Or am I the only one who is "Timer Challenged"???

Maybe you're over thinking it?
I only change my lighting timers 3 times a year. In April I add an hour for Spring Schedule, in June I add a couple hours for Summer Schedule, in October I switch to Winter Schedule.

I'm sure I am over-thinking it, but that's my nature. I just want the ideal settings for everything! I have noticed that Zaphod likes his basking light on first thing. I used to have it come on shortly after the other lights, but it seems he has been looking forward to warming up more now that the nights are getting cooler. I will be adding that into my next lighting schedule and see how I can over-think the rest of the timers :D (It gives me something to worry about ;).
