Silkworms/Hornworks

Got my first order of worms in today. Really enjoyed my business with mullberry Farms. great company.

Waldo wasn't taking to raoches at all, not the dubais, not the hissing, so I decided to throw some variation in there without roaches and Silk/Horn worms is what I chose.

he is loving the silk worms, he goes for them immediately. The hornworms I haven't gave to him yet, most are small so I want them to grow a little before he goes for them. That, and I'm just not feeling the finger picking of the horn worms, I've seen them jump at each other in what appears to be anger, so I will also wait for some bug tongs...lol

But Im happy with the worms! Out with the roaches....in with the worms. Worms and crickets seem to be the only diet i can offer

The hornworms wont hurt you :)
Glad Waldo enjoyed the silkworms - they are a great feeder choice. Did you know you can gutload them with dandelion leaves, grape vine leaves and shaved carrot, in addition to mulberry? Not that there's anything wrong with mullberry!

Nice.. I have been looking for that information everywhere. Now the silkworms I get from Petsmart don't seem like they're being fed. How do you recomend I go about taking care of them?

silkworms eat mullberry tree leaves, a "chow" made from a powder of primarily of same leaves, dandelion leaves, grape vines leaves and to a lesser extent shaved carrot and similar
