This is my monthly log of what most of my male panther chameleons ate during October 2011. One young adult male panther is on a different "repashy experiment" diet (same food, but different supplementation and gutloading routine) and a second but elderly male is getting whatever he likes, including even waxworms. These two males are excluded from this log. All the other male chams get offered the same prey and usually they eat about the same amounts, but when some eat a little more or less than others, I use an average for this log.
Due to time constraints, Im not listing out what the female chameleons ate this month. Usually they eat roughly the same stuff as males, though sometimes a little bit less. Check last months entry for a sample female food log.

Prey listed is usually fed to the chameleons between 7am and 9am, but sometimes one prey item is given in the morning and another type in the afternoon, and occassionally I skip the morning (i sleep in) and feed in the afternoon only. On those days where they are not fed at all, they still get water (primarily from drippers).
Supplements, if used, are indicated by:
C = calcium (a mix of about 50% RepCal and 50% Sticky tongues MineralO)
CD3 = calcium with D3 (RepCal)
V =Vitamins (RepCal Herptivite)
Gutloading of roaches, crickets, and terrestrial isopods this month was/is primarily carrot, butternut squash, apple, pear, dandelion greens, arugula, as well as a dry mix like this. Wild Caught (wc) Grasshoppers were offered alfalfa, slices of orange and apple overnight before being sacrificed. Stick bugs are primarily eating blackberry bramble. Superworms and mealworms are kept / fed like this. Butterworms are essentially not gutloaded enough to matter, as I usually feed them off not long after purchase. I believe the silkworms were raised on chow (I no longer breed them for myself), but I gave them dandelion greens overnight before feeding off.
