Supplements, if used, are indicated by:
C = calcium (a mix of about 50% RepCal and 50% Sticky tongues MineralO)
CD3 = calcium with D3 (RepCal)
V =Vitamins (RepCal Herptivite)
Gutloading of roaches, crickets, and terrestrial isopods this month has been primarily carrot, butternut squash, apple, pear, dandelion greens, arugula, mustard greens, alfalfa, seeds and nuts, kelp powder, spirulina and small amounts of other assorted things.
Stick bugs are primarily eating blackberry bramble this time of year.
Superworms and mealworms are kept / fed as indicated in this previous blog entry.
Butterworms were given steamed squash, which they ate only a little of before being fed off.
I believe the silkworms were raised on chow (I no longer breed them for myself – rather I buy from the local shop). I gave them a few green dandelion leaves to eat prior to being fed off.
*The exception is one young adult male panther that is on a different "repashy experiment" diet (same prey, but a slightly different supplementation and gutloading routine)
