Prey listed is usually fed to the chameleons between 7am and 9am, but sometimes one prey item is given in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and occassionally I skip the morning (sleep in) and feed in the afternoon only. On those days where they are not fed at all, they still get water (primarily from drippers).
Supplements, if used, are indicated by:
C = calcium (a mix of about 50% RepCal and 50% Sticky tongues MineralO)
CD3 = calcium with D3 (RepCal)
V =Vitamins (RepCal Herptivite)
VA = Vitamins ** As an "experiment", two of my males are now periodically getting a vitamin supplement which contains preformed vitamin A, all the others continue to be free of retinol supplementation.
Gutloading of roaches, crickets, and terrestrial isopods this month was/is primarily carrot, butternut squash, apple, blackberries, pear, mustard greens, dandelion greens, arugula and yam, as well as a dry mix like this. Wild Caught [wc] Grasshoppers are offered the same stuff as the crickets and roaches overnight. Stick bugs are primarily eating blackberry bramble. Superworms and mealworms are kept / fed like this. WC Moths are not gutloaded. Butterworms are given a little steamed butternut squash, but not for a long period of time so they dont get to eat much, as far as I can tell. Wild caught Termites were left overnight with apple, blackberry and carrot, before being fed off.
* All the chams get offered the same prey and usually they eat about the same amounts, but when some eat a little more or less than others, I use an average for this log. (With the exception of one elderly cham that is now getting whatever he most likes, including a few waxworms and more moths than any other. I no longer worry about variety or fat or limits for him, and his intake is no longer included in the monthly log.)
