I used to have 2 ferrets. One sable and one silver mitt... the silver one had to be put to sleep (she was almost 7 and was on prednisone/injections for her adrenal gland)... the other developed it as well but she is around 6 years old and we gave her to a nice couple that has 3 other ferrets... Before that I had a sable and silver mitt (one girl and one boy) but my ex kept them. That was about 12 years ago.
