@Daschmidt They are almost exclusively wild caught: it's very rare to find captive bred individuals. While they do well in captivity, and are relatively easy to keep, there can definitely be acclimation problems, like with any other wild caught animal. I'm sorry your daughters experience didn't go well! I love my funny little guy. They have lots of personality.
