What do you think of him? From the moment I got him, now 2 years ago, he lives free range with me. Poor guy had a rough first year, living in extreme small glass enclosure, low to the floor underneath a counter with constant movement of customers. And he was moved every evening into a fridge
A fridge!? that's a new low on the bad husbandry scale. He looks great. I have an older WC Kenyan, "Rex". Sonny has the larger horns of the two. He's also an excellent example of where the common name, yellow crested, originated. It looks like you are giving him a great life.
I know, that’s the reason I needed to take him in. Just crazy and the poor guy had no scales around his eye turrets, because of the stress rubbing. Luckily he recovered for 99%. Yes, he shows a lot of yellow when he’s fired-up. His horns are massive and they’ve grown for at least 30% during my care. But, he also finds them annoying when traveling through the shrubs or trying to drink.
