I've never seen him display the color range he put off that day. He was really upset that I was changing his cage out and fired up in protest. I had to run over and snap a shot before he calmed down.
Me too. Normally, he is several shades of OD green and something that resembles pea soup. I suppose that is good that he rarely gets fired up. Otherwise, he'd be displaying "stress" colors way too often. If I startle him, he usually puffs and gapes a bit, but never really branches out of his olive drab camo pattern.
Indeed, it is a veiled (chameleon calyptratus). I've never seen him "fire up" that much either until the other day. Who knows, I might have a "super veiled." I know Stan Lee (Marvel Comics) has a show called Super Humans. I'm wondering if there's a market for "Super Pets?" : )
