@OldChamKeeper I have a very large roll of white photography background paper. I cut a 5 foot square piece off and haphazardly emptied a can of blue spray paint on it. That was hung on the back wall with a flash hitting from above and the chameleon on the grapevine branch was in the middle of the room with another flash hitting him.
@MikeT307 No doubt there are plenty who don't like my backgrounds, but you are the first that have told me so. Most people like this sky background, being that it doesn't look all that "artificial". If you don't like this one then you more than likely don't like any of my work, because this background looks more natural than any of my others shot in the studio. For me, it's all about art and that's why I take pictures. Taking pictures of chameleons in their natural habitat with the normal cluttered background or foreground just isn't my style, but I do very much appreciate natural photos done well. That being said, if I ever come across a large photography backdrop with a very blurred forest, I will definitely put it to use. http://www.scottcromwellphoto.com/Photos/Panther-Chameleon/
