My discovery and love reptiles started in a grade 10 high school ecology class ,we had to pick a species of animal that could live in a tank and recreate its natural habitat for the purpose of study and then do a presentation with a Q and A period .
I picked newts , and built a vivarium and it hasn't stopped from that day on. I was fascinated with building and recreating on a small scale the environmental conditions for a species to live in.
From there i progressed to salamanders, crested gecko's , bearded dragon's.
Of late my interest has been dart frogs , but i have absolutely fallen in love with Chameleons . I joined these forums to get a better understanding of their needs and learn all i can from experienced keepers.I am hoping to start keeping my own early next year!
