I have had several different breeds of chameleons on and off over the past 20 years. Jacksons, carpet, veiled and panthers. Panthers are my favorite. For the first time, I decided to attempt raising females and breeding. Even though I am not new to chameleons, I'm new with females and egg laying. I have a pair of NoseyBe, and a pair of Ambilobe. Males are 1 1/2 yrs old, females1 yr old. My males are in their own fully screened enclosures, 24" x 24" x 48", females are housed together fully screened enclosure 36"x 18"x 48". Tried separating them but they became stressed. Misting system for misting every hour. Also have water drippers. Use Zoomed 75w, basking. Zilla 15w T-8 tropical for full spectrum lighting. Feed gut loaded, calcium dusted crickets, and the males like super worms. I have live plants for keeping up humidity and shade. Vines and sticks of varying sizes and textures. Females have egg laying bin composed of 3/4 washed sand and 1/4 organic soil. 12" x 14"x 16". Each female has used the bin 3 times. Eggs incubated in very slightly ventilated lidded containers with moist but not wet vermiculite, kept in a dark place average temp 72'-75'
