My name is Rebecca Wang and I live in Austin Texas. I am a traditional artist who creates vibrant and expressive animal portraits using a bright color palette. I use acrylic paints with bright rainbow colors and bold brush strokes to create energy and movement in these artworks. I have always had a deep love and appreciation for animals and the natural world. I distill this passion into each painting, allowing the individual personality and spirit of each animal to shine through. There is much attention to detail, especially in the eyes. I call my distinctive style "colorful realism", blending traditional realism with fauvism and semi-impressionism to create these unique animal portraits.
