    horn-worms available

Hi all, I had a few left over horn-worms that my male Veiled chameleon "Chubbs" didnt eat and decided to let them pupate. After weeks of research and husbandry , i successfully hatched several hawk-moths and had a couple breed after hand feeding them. I now have hundreds of horn-worm eggs...

    New enclosure, Work in progress

Yes I plan on getting some isopods, springtails, etc. And will be adding a layer of hydroton, mesh screen and leaf litter on top. I just threw all of this together today. But by the end of the week I'll have the drainage layer finished and will be loading it with branches. Thanks for the input!!

Unhappy with cage? Or just extremely friendly/social Chameleon?

Yes he will be 3 years old September, but so far he has been calm and I've never seen him grumpy "fingers crossed ". Definitely makes it easier for them to be comfortable around you getting him at a young age.

Lol sounds like my male veiled, he always wants to come out every time he sees me moving around and I've also had him since he was 3 months old and he just enjoys exploring and hanging out with me. Here is a picture of him basking this morning after his breakfast.

His diet consists of, crickets, dubia roaches, superworms and blueberries which are his favorite. Occasionally he'll eat collard greens and munch on...

    Preparing for vacation

I would get a couple more varieties of feeder insects like, superworms, silkworms, waxworms, hornworms or whatever you can get at your petstore. Chameleons love a variety in their diet and will be good to have extra food incase something happens to the crickets. Congratulations on the wedding...

    Baby veilds hatching but dying

I wasn't trying to imply that it was the breeders fault at all. Atleast i did not mean for it to come out like that. All I meant is for anyone who wants to get into breeding make sure they take the time reading on the subject. I was very sorry that the breeder had this happen. I know this wasn't...
