Hi everyone,
So since we got our little Yoshi about 3 months ago we have been struggling to get a water system together that he would drink from. We had tried a dripper and hand misting but he didn't drink much from either. We have a fogger that we clean regularly and add distilled...
Hi everyone,
Yoshi has been doing great but we have noticed he is normally extremely colourful while sleeping and are wondering if that's normal? We don't run lights at night and allow for a normal temperature drop. Also no misting or anything at that time. I have attached a pic for reference...
Our Panther Cham has been very demanding in the mornings. He will crawl over a dish with live feeders in it in that we offer him by hand in order to get out of the cage and roam around. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of restlessness? Also we adopted him at 8 months and...
For what it's worth I'm glad this thread came under discussion again I posted about a concern over this same sort of spot on our 9 month old ambilobe panther. We are now debating about whether to get a biopsy or not. He only has one spot now.
Haha well he's up waiting to be fed every morning so probably just excited
Hahaha!!! Yes we are Canadian. My mistake. We have multiple thermometers and they read in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. As if chams could get anymore confusing :p
We have noticed our little guy is extremely active in the morning and were just wondering if anyone else has noticed that their cham acts particularly excited like this at a certain time during the day?! Example pic included :)
Hi there,
Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

Also we are planning to make the appropriate...
My fiancé and I are first time Cham parents. We have had Yoshi for about 6 weeks. One thing we have learned from the research we have done is that preventative care is what matters most for Chameleons. We have taken the time to include as much detail about our set up as possible and would love...

He Gapes sometimes ( or yawns) then immediately shutters his whole body.
When he walks, he moves kinda back and forth a sometimes a slight wobble. Though I think this is pretty standard. As he is quite strong and active in general.
I will try to get video asap.
Thanks again
Thanks for the reply. He can get within at least 8" of the uvb at the closest, with another branch that sits more like 12" from the light.
We are concerned about some shaking, though he seems quite strong and we have already started repti-vite, calcium, and d3.
Please comment. Thank you.
Hi. Our 8 month old ambilobe Yoshi, has been acting oddly on occasion. He gapes, as if yawning, or thermoregulating but very briefly shutters his body, immediately after the yawn. He has uvb, we use repti vite, calcium D3 in 2 week succession, with calcium regularly. We've read this may have to...
