I am seeing if there is any interest first before deciding for sure. Local pickup only. I am in Dallas, TX (North of Plano).
He is about 9months old. I got him from Screameleons and his sire is Kaboom. This picture is just before his last shed. I can get a better picture if anyone is...
The Aquazamp is awesome! I recently bought the low profile raindome and it works great. The difference between the nozzles is how much water they put out and "mist" size. Not sure how many gallons the reservoir is? At least 5 gallons I would guess. You do not have to buy the timer. The pump does...
Thanks for the replies! Yes, I do have a misting system (aquazamp) so water will not be an issue. I will load him up on extra crickets before I leave and maybe some extra worms.
Need to go out of town for Thanksgiving and can't find anyone to feed my cham. Will only be 2-3 days. Do you think he can miss a couple meals?? He is ~5 to 6months old (panther).
Well, I went with the LLL. I got the water tray too. I was really going back and forth but finally went LLL since I needed some cal supplements too and got them with one order. I was also a bit nervous about the "B grade" comments. Probably not a big deal but I didn't want to end up with a...
I would like to make my own cage but I am finishing up some bookshelves so my garage and tools will not be accessible for a few weeks :( and then it would take me a couple weeks to build it...
I need a cage now!
I think I will give the DIY cage a shot. I am concerned that the website calls...
Yeah, the extender could be nice!
The ebay one is tempting? I wish I could see a picture of it first. I don't want it to be all warped and busted up....
I need a larger cage for my growing panther. I have narrowed it down to LLLReprtile's 24x24x48 and DIY's SC-4 (new F3 model). Probably can't go wrong with either one.....
The SC-4 looks stronger but I like LLL's drainage tray?
I would like to get a larger cage for my panther chameleon when he is around 6 months old. Can I go directly to a 2x2x4 or should I go to an intermediate sized cage until he is closer to a year old? My current cage is 20"x18"x12".
That is good to know about slowing their growth. Will be hard to do here in Texas though. No basements and the coolest place is in the house but probably not cool enough (~74F). By the way, I already received my order of 1/8" crickets! My wife was home when they arrived so I have not seen them...
Thanks! I may wait until he can eat a little bit larger crickets then. I don't want to waste a bunch that out grow him or have to feed him a ton of crickets that are too small.
I would like to order crickets on-line in bulk but I am not sure what size to get. If I order ~500 that should be 1 to 1.5 month worth for him. He eats 1/4" crickets so if I ordered 1/4" crickets will they grow too large after 3 or 4 weeks for him? So I guess the question is, how fast do...
