Worried about my new baby veild

It all depends on how the urine and poop looks. If his colors are brown and don't change and if he is looking weaker and weaker see a vet. Our chameleon had a different case but to our sadness he did not make it.

    moldy orange question!

Carrots The carrots are perfect for feeding the crickets. It is called gut loading or gut feeding. It means that the crickets will provide extra nutrients for the chameleon once they eat it. :)

    New cage. To big?

The Chameleon Itself The chameleon looks rather skinny. Try feeding it a bit more and make sure he gets a little rounder. If you don't have one already get a misting system or mist it yourself. Although when you mist the leaves try to not mist the chameleon.:)

    New cage. To big?

Size Difference I would say the size of your cage can never really be too big. The bigger it is the more space your chameleons will have.:)

    What Size?

We are getting a male baby sunburst chameleon. We are first timers yet know a lot from this website and research. Anyway we have ordered a cage (24x24x48). When the chameleon grows it will grow rather quickly but when it grows to its biggest size will the cage be big enough? Do you think we will...

make sure you keep your chameleon temperature not too hot not too cold. be :D don't worry don't be frozen or too hot

    My room is so hot!!!!

That Hot! Your chameleon should have the heat lamp off when the humid air comes through to prevent you chameleon from overheating. You should only give your chameleon the right amount of heat it needs instead of over heating it.:)

Is This a Good Setup for my Jacksons Chameleon?

The Cage The enclosure is nice and big. A good amount of space for a chameleon that large. I would suggest maybe one or two more branches so it can climb a little more. It looks nice!:)

    I'm a newbie with a few questions (:

REAL or FAKE plants for the enclosure I strongly recommend having real plants in the enclosure so the chameleon will feel more at home in a enclosure. Also you can have some fake plants. Although one of the best things that are fake are vines. Chameleon love to climb on them always and that's...

How do chameleons get water when in the wild?

How Chameleons Get Water Chameleon get water from the moisture on the leaves. I suggest to use a misting system in the cage so the chameleon can get something to drink.:)

    A little help

Hi this is chameleonlover101 and we are just about to get a male Sunburst Veiled chameleon. I was wondering if it would be better to let the chameleon get the cricket or to feed it the cricket with tweezers. :)
