    Handling issues

So my veiled has always been territorial, but I went to Florida for a week, and came home, and I had my brother look after my cham, he handled him once in that week and now whoever I go near his cage he hisses at me, and won't let me hand feed him anymore. Any suggestions on what I can d to make...

Jackson Chameleon NOT drinking, please help!

I have a very small dish in my chams cage where I let my "little dripper" drip into so my tree doesn't drown? And he actually drinks from the dish. He finds it easier than waiting for each drip. (he is way to big to drown in it. Maybe you can try that :)

    Metabolic Bone Disease?

Please help. I don't know if my Cham had MBD and I'm a paranoid pet owner when it comes to things like this. It may be slight but I don't know if I have anything to really worry about.

    territorial

My cham is a lot like yours. Once he is outside he brightens up and is friendly :) I let him climb on my curtain because he enjoys it... Or he is trying to get away haha. EIther way, a free range would be your best bet for your cham to share his territory more often with you! Good luck! :)

    R.I.P. Bubbies

I am so sorry for your loss. My bearded dragon passed away similar. He was the runt and I took him in, and about a year later, not much bigger than what he was he passed away. He was fine an hour before and I went to the book store and then I found him dead. ~RIP Gimpy~

    Color at night question...

Bright Yeah, my chameleon is also a very bright green when he is asleep. I have noticed on his face and casque that he gets a dark brown on it, and I'm not sure why. He is about four months old now. (I think).

    Vacation

I'm on vacation and I miss my veiled so much and I feel so guilty that I had to leave Enzo home with my brother who will be taking care of him for the week. Does anyone else feel super terrible when leaving their cham at home for vacation?:o

    Phoenix worms?

I usually feed my Cham crickets, but my nearest pets shop is 3 towns away so I get about 70 crickets but he goes through them quickly. I try to give him mealworms as treats, he will eat some carrots, and he loves Phoenix worms. My pet shop doesn't carry butter worms or hornworms etc. but maybe...

    Phoenix worms?

Is it okay to feed my Veiled chameleon a staple diet of crickets with phoenix worms? If not how often should I feed the phoenix worms to him?

    Handling Issues.

Cage location His cage is located in my living room, not much action or movement goes on in there. I live in the city, but on a quiet street so I don't see that as a bad thing for him.

    Handling Issues.

Hey everyone, I was wondering how everyone gets their chameleon out of their cage. I have an aggressive 3 month old male veiled, proper lighting , screen cage (ReptiBreeze 36"x18"x18") regular feeding, and he is very healthy. When I put my hand in for him to crawl on me he hisses. To handle...

    veiled chameleon's reaction to me

Mine is only nasty when I try to touch him. Probably a privacy thing I guess

    The next best training method?

My chameleon only lets me pick him up when I'm wearing a grey purple and green striped robe. I guess color association is a way of training. :)

    Shooting tongue at water?

My veiled does this as well. I have a little dripper always running, and sometimes I make the pace of dripping slow when I notice he's trying to shoot his tongue at it so he can get a big drop of water :)

    Picky or Blind?

If you have a screen cage you can put a roach on the wall a little way from your Cham so it doesn't hide, and then they may notice it crawling. I do that with crickets if I don't have time for hand feeding.

So cute! All my Cham wants to do is run up curtains xD they seem to love them!

    Massive hornworm delivery

I've almost given up on crickets as well. THEY JUST CAN'T STAY ALIVE! Usually Enzo only goes after things that move and only on occasion does he eat a dead cricket.
