My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Got that shit dialed in! Cheers, brother. Though, I do have a question in a different topic... What are you doing as far as lighting/heat in your setups? I'm curious since you're so meticulous about everything else so far.

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Haha yes I ran into this problem, so I used some of the more flexible tubing I had left over from my blumat system that was also 1/4th for underside of the lid.

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Okay, cool. Thanks again for helping me figure this out, and getting it running effectively. I definitely wanted to pull my hair out a couple times but i'm glad to have the support of such an awesome community! The next thing I'm going to do is add a blumat system for my plants with an...

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Oh, there's just one (main) line that goes down to the very bottom of the bucket. And also the line that feeds back into it drops down about 6", and then there's a little water heater on the bottom as well, to keep the water warm.

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Oh, yes. I forgot to update you on that. The aquaponics pump wasn't covered through the amazon store credit, so I bought your pump with the correct fittings. The only issue i'm having now is getting my valve set up correctly. So far I get a little spray and then it stops (and this is only with...

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

This project keeps throwing wrenches at me. Nothing works on this pump as far as connectors. I tried 1/2" connectors and returned them for being too big. I just got the 3/8ths and it's barely too small. I think there's something odd about this pump and i'm just wasting time and money at this...

Damn, you found those fast haha. You're a wizard. So I think I'm going to buy the Aquatec pump instead! Amazon gave us $100 for screwing up so many of our shipments, so essentially they are buying us a pump.

It's definitely larger than 1/4th, so it's got to be 3/8th. I checked amazon and they didn't have plastic versions of what I need but I found these: https://www.amazon.com/LTWFITTING-Female-Compression-Connector-Fitting-x/dp/B00CHHYMP8

I'd like to have a rain line as well. I intended on having two lines (about 1' each).

No worries if not. I noticed your pump is back in stock. I just have to keep it next to my aquarium and i'm afraid the noise will bother the chameleon.

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

So apparently my pump is not 1/2" so i'm going to need a new one after all. Any suggestions? I'm down to spend a bit more for something that's quieter.

Where did you get those drip lines that you attached to the connectors? I have all the connectors I would need, but I'll have to find drip lines like yours to plug in.

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

One thing I may do in the future, though, is buy one of those pumps you referenced previously. Probably depends on how much the noise bothers me and the wife. A oh i’d love to throw in a rain feature as well. What do you use to accomplish that? Btw i’m still waiting for the connectors but they...

My DIY Rain Nozzle Misting System For Under $75

Yes, i’m at $70 dollars, but with that I bought extra tubing and connectors (to eventually connect to more places if need be) and I am using a mistking sprayer. I’m also not getting a lot of that money back so spending an extra $110 or what have you doesn’t seem worth it to me at this point. now...
