I've had my 4.5 month old male panther for just over a week now, and for the first two/three days he would eat 10-12 small crickets daily from his feeding cup, but since then seems to have shunned the cup. I noticed he'd started eating less, just a couple a day from the pot, but then while sat...
Thank you, Kath!
He just let me take him out if his cage for the first time, and then promptly pooped on me! Managed to get this lovely photo before the mishap!
They're just quick snaps uploaded from my phone, they're not intentionally massive! Haha, I' don't want to scare him with my canon yet, so we're making do with my iPhone.
Grumpy again this morning, though not so dark, you can see his lovely reds! I turned his lights on a little later, though reluctantly as he went to sleep at around 5pm (I guess he's running on pet store times!), but I turned his lights on at 9.30am. He is not a morning chameleon, for sure!
Thank you! He is a greedy little munchkin, he emptied his feeding tub this morning and kept going back to check out the empty tub, so I refilled it and he are them too! A couple escaped and he hunted them down.
He's been very dark all day today, but when he flares up he's beautiful already, so...
Look at this little cutie, all tired out and chubby after his first day with me! He ate at least 10 baby crickets right in front of me! Greedy little man!
He is my first! I've had Yemens and flap necks before, always wanted a panther but they're not very common where I live!
He's currently hanging from the roof of the cage, is he alright up there? He's happy colours!
I got him from a dealer in Somerset, uk.
And yup, he's currently well screened behind a corner, I just keep peeking around the corner to check on him! In fact, for the second photo I just poked my phone around the corner, haha!
I just received my baby 4 month old panther via courier! He's just getting used to his new home, being grouchy and dark coloured! Saw some reds and blues and greens in him already when he flared up and told me to leave him alone, so excited to see him once he's settled in!
Hi,
I'm due to receive my 4 month old panther via courier on Sunday, but he's due to arrive late in the day, around 6.30pm. He'll have been in a heating controlled vehicle, so heat wise he'd be fine.
I was wondering about lighting him/misting on the first night. Would putting his lighting on...
