I believe if you don't have a solar meter, it's really not recommended to use a mvb for a chameleon because it could be either too hot and too much uvb or not hot enough and not enough uvb.

I'm no expert but from what I've read, the 10.0 is too strong unless u have a big cage and it's really dense with foliage. The recommended is the 5.0 reptisun. Reptilglo, or 6% Arcadia. Maybe looking through the forum will tell u if the 10.0 is responsible for the burns

The unknown plant I belive to be called standing pothos, I've seen it in cages but not 100% sure of its toxicity. They didn't have croton? I've found them at lowes a lot just too small
