is the greens and fruits and veggies for the crickets or for my cham? ok we'll turn all her lights off at night then. i believe the uvb light is zilla?
we don't keep a warm house. its about 65 during the day and not sure about temp at night. she does have some repti-cal on the crickets but not sure if it washed off during misting or not
* Your Chameleon - veiled, female, about a year or so. had her for a week
* Handling - not much, only if we think she's falling
* Feeding - crickets and superworms. once a day. maybe 3 crickets, 1 worm a day, orange cubes sold in pet stores fed to crickets
* Supplements - nothing
* Watering...
she's been eating, but haven't seen her drink. her basking area is about 80+. mom is checkin for poops in the plant. we planned on taking her to the vet anyway
so we've taken all substrate out and the waterfall and fogger. the store took back the fogger but not the waterfall because my mom tore up the styrofoam while getting it out. i will now attempt to sell it on craigslist. we bought superworms for zeeva (our cham) and put yummies in the cricket...
uvb light is a zilla slimline desert fixture: desert 50 uvb T8 fluorescent bulb
heat light bulb is 100 watts flukers clamp
whats the difference between superworms and mealworms besides color? we've been using large mealworms for her.
the pet store was taking her to a nearby vet so she knows the details about her history. am i not supposed to feed her much because she's gravid or is this how much she's allowed to eat regularly? we have a book that says they can have up to 12 large crickets in a day. what veggies should we...
do they have bones all the way down to their belly area? i felt her belly and it wasn't squishy but had things in it. not sure if it was eggs or bones, or what? no spines or anything on the back leg area
* Your Chameleon - veiled, female, about a year or so. had her since tuesday

no, she's been up in her tree, getting used to her larger enclosure. they said not to worry about a laying bin until she comes down to the bottom but i wanted to get one sooner. they said get a kitty litter box and use some sort of special sand.
the fogger we have now sits inside the waterfall.
she doesn't eat too much actually. maybe 3 crickets and 2 or so mealworms a day. we've had her since tuesday so the store's to blame for fattening her up. i guess she's already had problems with egg impaction[/IMG]
yea i think she looks fat too lol. the guy at the store said to get a waterfall and a fogger so we did. is the zoo med repti fogger good? *going to fill out thingie*
we have a veiled. the fogger has been doin pretty good about keeping it humid on the bottom. we're just hoping they'll take them back since we've been using it for 3 days. would a humidifier coming from the top of the cage be ok? we're new to chams, so any info would be greatly appreciated!
we have a large zoo-med open air enclosure and we have a waterfall with a fogger on the bottom of the cage. we're using press n seal to keep the moisture in on the bottom. what other ways can we keep the moisture in up top without blocking all the air flow? and without making it look tacky?
