    Meet Ethel Webster! (spider pics)

RIP Ethel Webster. I'm sorry you lost her but surely she's enjoying a cardboard tube in the sky now.

    My chameleon is always purple

Not at all, that's usually a sign of trouble. Is she actively digging?

    Translucent veiled chameleon receptiveness

In a high translucent, it's not uncommon to have pinks but I have never seen reds like that!

    Translucent veiled chameleon receptiveness

She's not too young to lay, be sure that she has a bin. But I would definitely give her more time before you breed her. She'll definitely get blues and yellows to let you know that she's receptive.

    My chameleon is always purple

I use a little dripper. If you don't have one, you can even just put a few pinholes in the bottom of a milk jug and set it on top of the cage.

    My chameleon is always purple

My beloved little Yemen lady was a little bit picky with her first lay, much less so with the second. She lays in organic top soil and moss mix, but she wants total privacy. If you see your little lady in her bin, cover the cage and let her do her thing. I actually had to set up a Webcam so...

It was totally necessary, I swear!

I found a really good home for Buster Brown Butt... But I really don't want to see him go. Maybe I can find a home for the husband instead. :coffee:

It was totally necessary, I swear!

I'm about to trade the husband in for more lizards. They can have his side of the bed.

    My chameleon is always purple

They need to hurry up and hatch. We both need very little spock feets in our life.

It was totally necessary, I swear!

The winter up here has very narrow shipping windows for bugs! All of my fat little lizards have decimated my farm even though I put them all on a diet... Even the frog is on a diet.

    Translucent veiled chameleon receptiveness

My low translucent girl still flares receptive colors. Could you post a picture? She might not be old enough to show mating displays. These are her colors when responding to my male when she's not receptive or is already gravid. These are her receptive yellows, but forgive the grumpy girl...

I need a few good men.

They're taking their sweet time for sure! They seem to be doing great, although I did have one start to go bad last week. You don't even have to candle them to see the blood vessels anymore. I just want them little babies to love on!

    Stupid lizard is gravid AGAIN.

I'm only feeding her every other day, and even that meal is smaller than what she used to eat daily. I think after she loses some of her baby weight, she'll slow down but I wish she would do it sooner! Her first clutch was 55 eggs and fertile, her second was 64 and infertile. She had a...

    Stupid lizard is gravid AGAIN.

I could definitely try to get her out more often. I was really trying not to call her an a$%hole but she tends to fluff me, hiss and gape. So I try to give her space, but I will build her a little lizard treadmill if need be.
