I'm working on a 30X24X48" tall enclosure that will have 4 24" T5 bulbs. I have the fixtures left over from a previous project. Do they all need to be UVB bulbs or only half of them?

Yes the mountain laurel branches have really nice shapes & curves. We live out where I know they haven't been sprayed with anything. The grape vines around here are pretty straight & dull & get very big.
I did a search for safe branches & got eight threads. All talked about soaking, washing &...
I kept discus fish for a couple years. It took some time for me to learn all the ways they are way way more sensitive & susceptible to just about every thing, than any other kind of fish. It sounds like chameleons may be some what the same.
Thanks for the info, that helps. I have read many...
It's easy to say if something is not on some list some where don't use it & that's a good point about dead poison ivy. I was how ever hoping for & ask for some understanding of the process & why things are the way they are, not just blindly follow a list.
Obviously I'm new to chameleons. I had ask earlier about some plants I couldn't find on any list, not on the "not safe" list either. No one said anything about them. I also ask about using mountain laurel branches, dead branches with no leaves. Couple people said they were not safe plants but...
I was thinking, it's winter & the sap in down in the roots so branches should be pretty much just wood at this point. Anyone know for sure one way or the other?
We live out in the country near a creek with lots of mountain laurels. They have some really nice curvy branches with fine textured bark. I know the leaves are a no go but is there any reason why you couldn't use the branches in a chameleon cage?
Thanks for any info you can offer

I actually ordered two, a cheese keeper & a smaller long rectangular tupper for odds & ins. Will see which works best for what critters. Will post when I know.
I don't have a chameleon yet, been doing research for one. I do have anoles in a large terrarium & have been trying to find a better way to feed them crickets orther than just turniong them loose in the tank. I just bought a tupper on ebay for them. When I get a chameleon I can alternate days...
Been researching how to set up for a chameleon (thinking Jackson's)
If I understand it right what makes some plants not safe is that chameleons some times eat the leaves or at least might eat part of a leave?
I have looked at several list & haven't seen these two plants anywhere, rex begonia...
Great thread! The frog people do thing like this & I was wondering if it would be good for chameleons as well. Glad to see it done & working.
Thanks
