    5.0 or 10.0?

I would agree with all thats been said. Test have shown 40% lost in UVB projection through flexariums. And the florescent tubes will slowly start to lose it's UVB radiation output after the first 15 minutes of use. I would recommend buying a UVB meter, this will ensure maximum use of your tube...

    Really poorly male cham

I agree with whats been said by everyone, dehydration. I had that problem with my first chameleons a few years back, now they are fine. Definitely seek an experienced vet! I say this because inexperienced vets will go through things like x-ray, blood sample, injections etc all in 1 visit. And...

Hi, My UVB Tube is only 1 month old. As the old one was under warranty and stopped working, so I has it replaced. The vet cleared the infection problem forme, took x-rays and gave injections. I didn't want my chameleon to suffer or be in pain.

I have read that Velied are intense basking chameleons. They will bask under the sun even when the ambient temperature (eg. srrounding temp) is around 90. As long as they are not too close to the light to inflict burns, he'll be ok.I keep my light at about 20-25cm away from the basking spot. And...

No, the female can't see the male when inside her enclosure. I've just seen her change to another colour now, Is she ovulating? The photo doesn't show the colours too much. But shes starting to get some lateral picky, fadey white bars. And also showing more orange colour than usual.
