I have a 5 gallon bucket that I fill with distilled water. The distiller I purchased from amazon has an auto shut off once its done and it does about a gallon at a time. For my parsons I mist 15 minutes in the morning before lights on and 15 minutes at night right after lights out. Keep humidity...
I am not sure where you live but I bought one off of amazon for around 150$. They might have some that are cheaper as well. I have a panther and a Parsons so I go through a LOT of water and its cheaper to buy a distiller than have to buy gallons of it at the store.
I let some of my BSFL hatch into Soldier flies and let them go in the cage so my cham gets to hunt down flies, he really seems to enjoy the hunt. I also do the same thing with wax worms and let the moths go in the cage.
I am glad you were comfortable enough to ask a question, it can be scary when you are a new cham owner. I have a plastic shower curtain outside my cage to keep the water from hitting my walls. If you close in your cage with a shower curtain or something like this just keep an eye on your...

Do you have any problems with him eating the dirt? Some people are saying that parsons love to eat the dirt in with plants. I love the idea of planting straight into the box and then allowing the water to filter out through the dirt, allows for less watering of your plants and also looks really...
Definitely check out the podcast, I listed to all of them regarding Parsons(2 episodes) and they are very informative. @Gingero has a male and female Cristifer as well, she might be able to give you a bit more info.
