I never have issues with plant growth so I really just need the uvb linear bulb. so you think doing a separate 24” isn’t enough for them? I mean that covers the length of each cage. It’s the same bulb, so maybe I’m confused about something

Okay so I can do one 36” fixture with that bulb and run it across both cages. There is a divider. OR I can get 2 24 fixtures with 6% bulbs for the same price. Then each cage has its own. Thoughts

I have 2 panthers, and their cages will both be 2x2x4

Thanks everyone, I guess more specifically I was looking on what the difference is in 6% and etc. I started searching on here and was overwhelmed so I thought it best to start my own thread. What’s the difference in t8 fixtures or whatever? I plan on changing this week

im familiar with the heat end of the spectrum for panthers but I’m really trying to get deeper into uvb. I have the 5.0 coil style bulbs currently. I want to learn the difference compared to Arcadia lighting and etc. someone teach me so I can make a decision on how to improve my chameleons

Sounds good! I don’t think she’s got eggs, but it is a good safety precaution. I was under the impression they were housed separate, and upon arrival saw they were not. Just turned out to be more work than I anticipated. But it’s worth it!

It does have drainage. I didn’t add sand, but that’s an easy fix. I’m gonna say I’m at 10 inches of depth and I added the plant because I’ve heard they sometimes like to dig by plants.
