I don't know if it's me, or if it's because it's the morning and breakfast's still in him, but is Ziggy looking a little plump? I'm not majorly concerned, if I'm right then I'll cut back his feeding, he gets about 10 small crickets per day as he's only about 3 months old.
Yeah, my first veiled was a frequent hand-feeder, but my new little guy isn't really into it, he's taken a few crickets from me but he definitely doesn't do it often, although I have only had him for three weeks.
You've had her for 5 months, but how old was she before you got her? It's entirely possible that she's producing eggs, and in my experience females get quite pissy when they're in that condition, which may explain her shift in attitude in recent weeks. I may be wrong, but it's just a thought...
Good to know, I'm definitely leaning towards shelling out to have them sent over because I have read nothing but glowing reviews of the ledges. Am I right in thinking that an electric drill is required to attach the ledges to the cage?

I don't know how I'd feel about trying to haggle a better deal with him, he seems like a stand-up guy but I'm pretty sure he'll stick to "the price is the price" unfortunately, and broaching the subject at all might come off as a little rude.
It's an idea to add something to my order, but in light of the fact that I already have the Reptibreeze XL cage, I'm not sure what else could be added to my order. I thought a drainage tray might be a good addition, but the measurements of the tray and the reptibreeze are just off unfortunately...
