    Photo tips?

As for composition, a good rule to follow is the rule of thirds. Split your picture up into vertical and horizontal thirds. Like a tick tack to board _ | _ | _ _ | _ | _ .. | | Put your focal point in the center of one of the thirds.

What gets me is there are people like that everywhere. I'll admit that I'm kinda new to owning a Cham, but I did research for months before I committed. I may still ask stupid questions here and there, but I follow the advice given to me by the pros.

    Mulberry Farms Silkworm Fail

Thanks, That's good to know. They seemed really nice when I ordered them, and everything I read seemed like the worms rarely arrive dead. I'm hoping they work out, there really aren't many places near my house I can buy feeders. Petco has crickets and mill worms, but that's about all in my...

    Mulberry Farms Silkworm Fail

I ordered 200 small silkworms from mulberry farms. This was the first time I ordered them, and they all arrived dead. :( I got the heat pack because I live in Montana and it still looks like winter here. I contacted Mulberry Farms, but it's the weekend, and I don't expect to hear from them...

    Build Log : 2 : Design

Hey It's me again about 30 seconds after I posted the first Blog. Time to get in to the hard part. The design. I'm putting this enclosure in the corner of a room, next to a tall dresser 2 and a half feet deep. The roof is 9 feet from the floor, but it has a 45 degree slant from the wall to...

Hey anyone reading this! I'm excited, just earlier today I became a full fledged Member! I've been wanting to do this blog for a while now detailing the undoubted long process of building my custom chameleon enclosure. But first a little background on me. My name is Brent Steiner. I'm a...

    Hello All!

Congratulations!!! I want a pygmy :). My veiled liked climbing on me a lot right when I got him. That lasted until around his first shed. Then he just hid in his hibiscus whenever I open the cage to feed or mist him. Enjoy it while you can (but not too much;)). After a month or so of...

    Dubia's .. Sweet

I had a cricket escape about a month ago, I'm guessing around 15 got out. Fortunately they were juveniles no where near ready to breed and my cat loves hunting bugs, It gave me a solid day of entertainment watching the cat chase crickets. I cant imagine having a couple thousand Dubia's escape...

    towels..

That sounds fine. I personally use paper towels, that way I can just throw them out at the end of the day. It makes cleaning way easier.

    Dripper Question

I've been using a Terracotta base from an old flower pot, the clay absorbs most of the water, plus it's shallow and really easy to clean. Also you can throw it in the oven to disinfect and dry it.

    Chameleon Sleeping

My cham usually sleeps on the same spot every night. On a branch near the top of the enclosure, he has sense I got him (about a month ago). I just thought it was odd that he decided to switch. I also thought it was funny because I've never seen him climb on the top screen of the enclosure.
