I have a swat team that helps me with escaped crickets. My Min Pins loves to hunt them. They sniff them out and starts to dig where the crickets are. It is the funniest thing. The pooches catch most of the crickets in the house.
This kind of happens to my jacksons. When ever I change the UV bulb, about once every 9 months, they turn dark, and grey. I think it is because sudden increase in uv, but in a couple of days they are back to normal. Maybe your new inclosure lets in more uv than your old cage.
I have 2 Jacksons and a Panther. I feed them one feeder species a day, but their diet varries through out the week.

I am just a junior member and i dont know if you might consider my advise. There are several petstores in my area that sell chamleons. One in particular has repeatedly killed chameleons by the way they are being housed. I wont go into detail, but I was very upset and wanted to rescue them...
