if you didnt know if theres another way to check if they need water using SOIL why didnt you just say I DONT KNOW instead of giving me all this bullshit.

yes its a type of soil but its not the soil used for plants they told me its a specific kind for eggs but i dont remember the name sorry, ok so would i be fine if i keep it at 74f day and night ?
no the only time that i added water was when i got the soil and it was moist when i put the eggs in, and i just checked on them and the top surface of the soil is pretty dry but i put my finger inside and its still moist in the inside so im asuming there fine right now ?
ok so how i have 54 eggs ina 12 by 12 plastic square box with a type of soil the pet store told me would work for the eggs and 3 small holes on the lit at 29 degrees celsius day time and 23 degrees night time, and the soil was moist when i put the eggs in but i havent put any drops around them...
sorry i didnt notice you replied and all the answers i got didnt really answer my question i was asking how moist the siol should be and how to keep it moist, and if i should spray with water or water drops around them. and yes some eggs have been denting witch is why i need to know what to do...

i have 32 eggs in a still air incubator and filled it with dirt i have them at 85 degrees f. day time and 74 degrees f. night time but i need to know how moist i need to keep the foil they are in, and also if i should spray them with a spray bottle or water drops around them
