It's 9:38PM at night and we've had thick snow all day. The chances of us finding a vet willing and able is one thing, getting there is another altogether.
Right now he's laying on my partners hand flat out with eyes closed and mouth slightly ajar. I've tried spraying him with water but he's not drinking right now. He drank for a long time last night when I sprayed him.
Excuse the mess (most of it is my better half's lol)
The tank next to the flexarium is where I've just put the snake. I've covered the side up. Pretty much all the various tubs you can see have spiders in with the exception of one with locusts but that was empty this morning.
The TV is...
The snake is in an opaque plastic tub and was asleep out of view on both occasions he started hissing and swaying. He isn't reacting to me as I can get right up close to him and he's fine.
He's just done it again right now and none of my animals are out (spiders, scorpions, frog or snake). I'm...
He's just done the swinging from side to side and hissing again. This time he's in an upright position near his basking area and let go of the vine with his front legs to do it.
Again he's not been disturbed, I'm just sat here like normal on my pc, no-one else in the room. He can't see his...
Our Yemen has just dangled from a vine by his back legs and swung from side to side hissing. There's no other animals in his line of sight and no-one disturbed him
Any ideas as to what he's up to?
Since this is a poo thread, this morning I cleaned up my Chameleon's poo. Part was brown/black and part was yellow. Is this just because I'm feeding him locusts or an indication of something? I read about yellow wee being a sign of dehydration but I've got a dripper that drips from 9am till...
Yep my first. Always wanted one but for some reason never got around to it.
Here's details on corn snake patterns and morphs for anyone interested: http://www.reptimania.co.uk/cornmorphs.htm
My mum has already told me she won't be visiting us any more. She has some silly child hood memory of seeing one on the road thrashing about that had been run over. She can't even look at a picture of a snake and freaks out if she sees a toy one.
I did a forum search on them this morning and it seems some people say they're great feeders and some say they need to be treated like normal mealworms. Read some posts from people that fed these as a staple and nothing else.
Can I just clarify something. Are these the same superworms that you're talking about?

If so can they be used as a staple or are they more of a treat?
Nothing wrong with a bit of squarepants action. I think I enjoy watching the show more than our kids do lol
I think I'll play Patrick, I've seen a few episodes where he slips inside Spongebob with no problem at all ;) See now, isn't this better than a thread full of arguing!
I know this might be a bit much to ask but I have a spongebob fetish... I don't suppose you could.... wear a spongebob outfit and let me fill your holes with the chocolate?
That's good to know Lloyd and proves a point me thinks :)
