He says it's definitely 20 months old. They got it from a reptile centre at 6 weeks of age and his siblings were also small. Apparently a member of staff at the centre had one of his brothers and that one is even smaller.
Is that something that should be of concern?
He's taking some more pics now for me. There's eomthing I want to watch on TV shortly though so it may be an hour before I post them here depending how quick he can send them to me.
Just to be clear this isn't my Chameleon, it's one for sale at the moment. The owner says it doesn't have any health issues. It's 20 months old and they've had it from 6 weeks of age.
I'll ask for some more pictures and see if they can provide any.
Hi guys,
I have the opportunity to purchase a 20 month old male Yemen with the full kit at a very good price. At the moment it is being kept in a 30"x30"x75" flexarium which to be honest would be a very tight squeeze in our house. Is that size correct or could it be kept in something smaller...
So far my shopping list is:
38 Gallon Exo Terra Flexarium + Flexitray
ZooMed Reptisun 5.0 UVB 18" / 15w (I already have a starter unit)
Zoo Med Repti-Basking Spot Lamp 60w + Exo Terra Glow Light Small (14cm) to house it
Zoo Med Big Dripper (1 gallon)
I've got thermometers, hygrometers...

I keep Channa pulchra which is a dwarf species reaching 10". They have yellow patches on them and develop a lovely blue lower fin as they grow. I've never been bitten and it's unlikely to happen.

Hi,
My name is Simon and I'm 28. I've always liked Chameleons but I was always told they were incredibly hard to keep so I never looked into them.
Recently my partner and I decided we would like to keep a lizard(s) of some sort and decided on green anoles as they seemed easy enough. We visited...
I've got a spare digital thermometer/hygrometer and loads of dial ones. Just pricing everything up you see, it's looking a lot cheaper with the smaller flexarium!
Is a thermostat nessesary for the basking light? The blog mentions using a normal household bulb, would using a proper reptile basking light offer any advantages?
Thanks for the link, BocaJan has already pointed it out though and I've just been reading through it :) This forumis great, I just saw the DIY dripper with the yoghurt pot and aquarium valve. I never would have thought of that.
