Thanks everyone! I think I might try to get some superworms. Do I gut load them like my roaches? Also, since superworms are kinda large, will they be to big for my cham?
I am wondering if it would be ok if my dubia roaches had a tiny bit of coffee grounds in their food. I want to make a gutoad recipe and grind some seeds and nuts in my only unused(except once) coffee grinder. It has a little bit of coffee ground thats super hard to clean. Would it effect my cham...
Ok, today I gave them apples and carrots, I'm gonna try to get some sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and dandelion leaves for some more nutrition. Shouldn't be long g untill I get a good gut load recipe for them!
I've been thinking, since he sleeps a lot, he won't wake up in the morning untill like 10 am. I have to leave by 8 am during school days. How should I feed him? If I wake him and feed him won't he be cold and lethargic? What do you think?
As I know, an older veiled needs higher basking temps. Babies 1-3 months old can survive even without a basking spot; depends on room temp. Older ones like mine (7 months) need at least 87 degrees Fahrenheit minimum. If you know the length of your cham, we can try to find an approximate age. :)
