Such a great article. Thank you! I'm surprised I haven't been my cham sigh at me with all sides eye she gives me it would definitely be on par for her personality. I would also love to see a cham sneeze!
Awww she's super tiny. I'm still pretty new to the chameleon world and by no means an expert but she looks a lot younger than 7 months. If you need a comparison size I'll put up a picture of my approximately 7 month old, at her yet visit about a month ago she weighed 75 grams and was 9.44 inches...
We don't currently have a laybin but her soil is soft/moist enough to make tunnels in but I do have the laybin set up information so I can get that set up as an alternative if she didn't want to use her soil.
Hyde had her first vet visit today. I will be bringing by a fecal once I can get one to get it checked for parasites to be safe. The vet said she was healthy and feisty! Also she said I was super prepared (I pre-emailed my husbandry form from here) and that she was impressed by my detailed...
Oh wow! Thank you for letting me know. Yeah it was cool to have in our backyard, such a bummer about the raccoon though. Wow, Squirt got huge and sounds like she's definitely grown a lot in the time that you've had her.
That's awesome! You have quite the set up! We have some Amano shrimps in our bigger tank. Both tanks also have all live plants (both underwater and each have a pothos cutting growing out of them which is fun to watch). I haven't heard of endlers (I'll have to look them up). Our roommate had pond...
Okay perfect thank you for clarifying. I just took out the ceramic heat emitter and moved the lower watt basking bulb to where the higher watt one was (removed the higher watt). I will see if I can move the T5 HO fixture, I know the cords are all nicely bundled in the back so I may need to wait...
I was trying to add my responses to your feedback and questions and it said there were too many characters, so I will try this to see if it works. I'll put a brief description of the topic and then attach my responses. I hope that clarifies things and gives more information so Miss Hyde can have...
Here's some more pictures of sassy Hyde, serving up side eye since day 1, pictures range from when we brought her home up until having her in our care for the past 3 months (her most recent photos are from her 4th month being in our care).
I'll post it here then :) I have pictures of the enclosure, her supplements and most recent fecal dropping, and some recent photos of her. I'll also add a selection of pictures of her from when we brought her home to now, she's been serving up side eye since day 1 in the next post

Thank you! She's super sassy and is always giving prime side eye. I'll be posting my husbandry form soon to get it reviewed to give Miss Hyde the best care :)
