    Worried about eggs

my veiled chameleon is 11 months old and this is her second clutch. The first one was 48 eggs and this time she layed 32. However, after she burried the eggs, I took out the laying bin. She has since dropped 4 more eggs off her vine onto the ground. I'm worried if she has more in her she will...

    Heating issue for healing Cham

These replies make me feel a lot better. Thank you. For tomorrow while I'm at work I have a mic stand for her heating light at an angle above her usual (new) hangout, as well as both my 5 month uvb bulb and my new one up on ton of the viv. Tomorrow I'll work on raising the ground level and...

    Heating issue for healing Cham

The vet told me to take them down till her arms get stronger because the climbing is too much after her arms and eggs. But I might try to raid the whole floor up if I can.... gave me a good idea thank you. But worse comes to worse I'll do that

    Heating issue for healing Cham

My Cham is in recovery, just layed her eggs but her bone density is really low. Fracture in both front arms. Hand feeding at the moment as well as calcium oral injections. Only had her for 6 months (she's about 8 months old). Anyway, my issue is that she cannot climb well right now so I took...

    Sudden poor coordination

Vet update: Eggs are passed, hydration is good, eyes and skin are good, but bone density is very low :( I am switching from free range eating to cup feeding and hoping the larger reprisun 5.0 helps. They gave us a oral calcium injector for her. .3 daily shot I hope all this helps :(

    Egg Laying?!?! Who knew!

Read those links that were sent to you. It's scary, but easy if you know the signs. Mine laid her first clutch today!!! But all you need is a 5 gallon bucket, clean unfertilized dirt, a couple branches, and privacy. And of course knowing when. Reduced eating, restlessness, time at bottom of...

    Sudden poor coordination

Yeah the pictures wouldn't take and she was hiding on the far side of her vine once it did take. Her clutch was 48 eggs and she's really skinny now so I'm hoping but the vet said they will check if she held onto some eggs. Thank you for checking in. She's been put to bed for now so I'll keep...

    Sudden poor coordination

I've seen that before. I did a ton of research on laying eggs and getting eggbound. The only thing that threw me off was I was expecting her to show receptive and gravid colors

    Sudden poor coordination

Her back legs haven't had any issues. It's been her front legs. And not sure yet. Still miss grabbing a bit, but she's just been sitting there and resting on her basking vine

She layed her first clutch!!! Haven't counted the eggs yet but she buried all 3 holes I dug for her (she left 3 eggs on top of the dirt). Got her set up back to normal and put a hornworm some nicely dusted crickets and a couple wax worms in her cage for treats to get calcium back Still having...

    Sudden poor coordination

As of 6:00 she is in her very first laying bin. Super scared and nervous but also have the vet appointment for Tuesday morning. Just hope she isn't too week to lay any eggs. I dug a few starter tunnels for her so I hope they help. Thank you everyone for the help and I'll keep you posted. Wish...

    Sudden poor coordination

The only thing I don't know is should I have her heat lamps on while she's in there. I was planning on covering her cage with a blanket so if we do go into that room she can't see us

    Sudden poor coordination

I knew she needed a bin which is why I have everything, however I didn't know she wouldn't show colors if there is no male. I will set that up today. Thank you for all the help
