    New cham owner.

By the way I was in the same boat. Went into the pet store for a quick trip there when my girlfriend fell in love with their Cham, and now I'm on this website doing all the research I can

Was told male when I got him, but thinking female now

When I bought my Cham from the pet store, they told me he was a male. Being a first time owner and previous to me finding this site, I had no reason to believe they didn't know anything about what they were selling and holding. However I'm now thinking I have a female. Could I have some help...

    Colonizing super worms

I agree with you. Mostly asked as a way to practice colonizing bugs so I don't kill a batch of more expensive ones. But thank you for your insight very much :) and if it is more effort than it's worth for super worms I'll of course try it with silks or horn worms

    New cham owner.

A variety is important to the health of your Cham. I've only had my 4 month old for about 3 weeks now so I'm still learning a lot. Make sure the feeders are well fed and gut loaded. Then, your Cham needs lots of foliage to hide in so s/he is more comfortable. You NEED a uvb light as well as a...

    New baby Cham

I'll remove them imidiately. Also thank you. I'll look for those brands instead. I have been dusting them with Vitamins and calcium so I hope that helps cover what fluckers has been missing. Not sure if it helps but I've given the crickets banana the past couple days to help. Thank you very much

    New baby Cham

Thank you very much. This is extremely helpful! He's small but really liked the super worms! I'll take a look at that website you posted for those crickets over my local pet store (mostly for larger amounts for longer but loading). Thank you

    New baby Cham

Thank you very much. I had heard that there should be a constant supply of food in their cage, but it was by the pet store people who also had the bottom of the cage all uncovered dirt. (I do have dirt, covered in moss for humidity, that I will take out tomorrow when I'm getting my pathos plant)...

    New baby Cham

Hey everyone! So I have a 3-5 month veiled whom I've had for 2 1/2 weeks now. So far I've only fed him crickets and meal worms but I heard mealworms aren't very good for him. Today I got super worms (much larger than I expected) and flightless fruit flies. I was worried the super worms were too...

    New Cham owner

Hey, I got my new baby veiled with my girlfriend a couple weeks ago. He is 3-4 months old. So far we've been feeding him plenty of crickets and I have a dish in which I keep 5 meal worms in before we go to work, and full back up after work. (Typically eats 2 at a time, but never while I'm...
