    Gender help

Definitely a male. I think you've already established that, lol. But, you see the little stub, or pimple looking thing on the back of his foot? That's called a 'spur'. It is how you tell. Males have this spur, and females don't.

Do I have to clean my fake plants before placing them in my cage?

I have had a Veiled Cham before, but I was just wondering if I need to clean off my fake plants/vines before placing them in the enclosure? And, how would I clean them off? I purchased fake vines from Michaels Craft Store, and I'm afraid they might have bacteria on them. The leaves aren't really...

Is a Phalaenopsis Orchid safe for a Veiled?

If it's safe for them, would they be able to eat it? And, do you know how to prevent the chameleon from trying to eat the flowers and/or leaves? And if I should cover up the soil/branches with something? Sorry for so many questions

    Shedding, shedding, shedding!

Yes it is normal for a chameleon to eat his shed :). Raise your humidity and mist your cham's cage more often, this will help with the proccess.

    Age of my veiled?

We're feeding her about 5 crickets a day.. I'm going to start putting at least 10 in her bowl and see how much she eats out of those. Today we're going to buy more crickets. She gets 2-3 mealworms every 2 weeks. Hopefully she'll fatten up... I also want to buy a couple fruits or greens for her...

    Age of my veiled?

Hi! I purchased a female veiled chameleon last month, and I was wondering how old she was. Obviously she's just a baby and I don't think she's more than 3-4 months..? I have put some pictures and I think she is about 2-3 inches. (She climbed to the end of the ruler)
