I will never step foot in a petsmart again. I cant support them for anything. They gave me all sorts of bad advice before i joined this forum. But i also did alot of my own research and between that and the help of a couple people on here i have everything set up the way it needs to be.

Im surprised. I live in florida also and just about every vet around here has a herp or can refer you to one. Your in south florida correct?

I bought her from petsmart. I had no intention of buying her until i saw how small she was and the living condition. I wish they werent allowed to sell them. Atleast i know she will get the proper care and treatment and a loving home now.

When they opened the enclosure it smelled horrible. Small and dirty. She has a vet visit on Tuesday

I got a female this time. I bought the kit because they didn't just have the screen. So i threw all of that crap out anyways. I only kept the vine but i learned with the lighting.

Not sure if there is a good answer for that. My veiled is at the point where he sheds in stages now. He isn't like before when he would shed and be done the same day. I freaked out and googled everything i could. But i believe there is no real answer for that. I could be wrong.

Speaking of husbandry and what not how has your cham been?

I mean he literally transforms. He will eat everything else no problem but the little guy turns into a psychotic chameleon when he sees them?? he get impatient too and its just funny as hell lol
