Im building my guys new enclosure and got a bunch of sticks but starting to think some of them may be too thin. What do you guys think? How does this look, and would you change or add anything?
I purchased this chameleon despite there being several red flags so im not surprised or upset or going to go blaming the breeder but i do want to make sure i can do everything that i can. Im going to call the new vet and see about getting a fecal in before his intake and wellness check. Thank you!
Thank you as this was my primary concern but now im back to worrying about parisites. Especially because one of my fish is showing signs who i feed the same crickets.
Not being able to get him into the new vet untiafter r the new year is there anything in the meantime i can do? Or would you go...
I got him from a local reptile expo about 3 weeks ago i was told hes about a year old
And while im certainly no vet i can definitely tell the difference from a handfull of somthing on a slide vs 1000s.
I monitor bacteria in my reef tanks and check for parasites in my bearded dragon, ive just...
It does not have a stong odor and he did sleep directly under the fogger last night so i was thinking it just looked extra wet but im inexperienced when it comes to chameleons and have only had this guy a couple of weeks.
We have not gotten a fecal exam done yet but I was able to do it myself for our bearded dragon and still have the saline float solution so if it is the same process, i can do it here. But we were unhappy with our previous exotic vet and our experience there with our bearded dragon so i found...
This is the first time ive seen my chameleon down on the lower portion of his tank and i noticed there was some color to his poop. Im hoping he just came down low to do his business and will go back to the top where he usually is. But can you take a look at the picture and let me know what you...
I went on a walk behind my house and got an arm full of branches but not know where they came from or what they are is there a way to tell what ones i should use and what ones i should put back outside?
I will say the pictures dont show it very clearly, i will update this post if i can get some better pictures but thank you for easing my mind in the time being.
My chameleon has some black scales on the tip of his face that doesnt seem to be goong away. What could this be and is there somthing i should be doing about it?
My enclosure is coming along nicely between the washing machine pedestal, and now the removable side panels are going on smoothly so figured i would share incase any one else is interested in doing something similar. I am no master crafter with limited tools and found this easy but may not be...
The legs do have adjustable feet so you can level it. luckily my apt isn't very level though. so all the water will collect in the corner with the drain. But yes cleanun under ismy only concern and why i originally wanted to fabricate a stand where the tank would be suspended above the eaily...
I will say the flush drain is by far the best feature. Most drain pans ive seen either drain on the side not until its half full or the drain itself is raised so there will allways be a pool until the water level is above the drain.

Heres the link to the one i found theres alot of others but this is the only one i saw with a built in drain
Ive been researching for the last few weeks looking for the ideal stand for my enclosure. Everything i was finding was exactly 24x24 and i wanted it to be a bit oversized to collect any dripping water. I thought i was going to either make somthing out of wood and just seal the hell out of it, or...
