Thank you again !! :)(y)
Here he is finally!! I've had him for 2 months now. He's about 5 months old and seems so small compared to my 2 years old Ambilobe. He's eating well, full of energy. I just love this little guy, so I thought I would share some pictures...:)

Salut ig1na et bienvenue sur le forum!
You came to the right place to learn about chameleons. You will find this place full of resources and good advice.

I'm digging out my own thread.
I talked to one of the manager of the reptile store and it turns out that the merus are captive bred... He assured me that they were parasites free, but also insisted on the fact that these chameleons absolutely need a big gap in temperature between day and night...
I found this site (in french) that sells caterpillars, butterflies and all kind of other insects. They have bombyx eri caterpillar, I don't know if they could be considered as silkworms or hornworms. I'll read more about them and may try them. Anyway, the insects sold are supposed to be for...

Thank you very much for your replies.
I have finally decided to not go through with it as they are indeed quite expensive (250 € / animal) and since i'm not experienced enough, i'm afraid they might not last.
Thanks for your wise answers.
Hello,
I'm fairly new in keeping chameleons, hence the need of your expert advice.
I started last august with a young male ambilobe. He's doing really well and I found myself getting more and more interested in these wonderful little creatures. I've been thinking for a while to get a...
Thank you for your answers.
You can view all the details and see pictures of my terrarium here.
Let me know if there's anything wrong. I realised that it might be too crowded. I have no substrate but it's hard to reach when he poops in the back. I may have to re-do it.
You're right, my...
Hi,
SO this is it! I finally own my first chameleon and like the title says, i'm full of questions. I had read a lot about chameleons before getting one, but I realize now that nothing replaces practice. So here are my questions, but first, some pictures:
This little guy...
Thank you Junglefries for your comment. I have been reading a lot lately about chameleon care before getting one and checked out how they are kept in various countries like in North America, UK, Germany and of course France where I live. It's true that glass and wooden terrarium are very common...
