So I just ordered a pod of 16 hornworms. How many of these a day should my cham consume?

Subscribing to this thread. Would also love more information on this! On a side note I did see someone raising a dubia colony in a normal size plastic storage container. My issue is that I'm sure the apartment complex would freak knowing I'm raising roaches!

Was there any area for him to get shade while outside? He could have been dehydrated and all the sun you've been giving him + the last bit outside may have done him over.

I built my owner mister. It runs off being plugged in as there's no on off switch on the pump. What digital timers do you guys/gals use? There's gotta be some by the minute type ones out there. For anyone wondering I spent $55 on my mister (pump, fittings, nozzles, tubing).

Definitely watch CL and any other forums that they sell them. CL management will tell you to get lost so you'll be on your own looking there. The flyers at local pet stores about supplies is also a fantastic idea. Make sure to file a police report and like stated let them know about the value...

Great story and glad to hear about the success! I hate crickets myself, but I think I hate roaches equally as much. Are they as finicky while handling them? I hear they don't smell.

I have a male veiled. :) Also with manually spraying 2 times a day the humidity is always at 50%. It's crazy where I am here in NC. I was curious if I could just get away with a rain system.

My question is where the heck do I find mulberry trees. I want to get some silkworms but fear I wont be able to keep them alive. Also how many silkworms a day is healthy?
