When my male was young I would just hang out by the cage and let him get used to me, I tried hand feeding and just placing my hand in his cage for him to see. He usually walked wide circles around it but eventually moving my hand closer he was okay and finally came out! Even now he will come out...
He's really beautiful, I hope he's able to pull through for you. I'm sure he appreciates you taking him out of a bad situation and putting him in a way better one :) Congrats on your new addition!
I've never had any issues with Dubia Roaches, sometimes Mealworms and the occasional Cricket, but Crickets stink so much! Dubias are a GREAT alternative as long as your Chameleon will eat them :)
Honestly it's been a while since I've had babies, She looks maybe 3-4 months old from what I can see in the picture, but a clearer picture would help with clarity maybe. - You defiantly don't want to rush breeding her. :)

Realized I never did get back on here. I ended up taking Lyfling to a Emergency Vet when she stopped using her back legs again and I found her at the bottom of her cage, she passed shortly after I got her to he ER. The on-call vet told me she might have been impacted, he said that she looked in...
She shouldn't be gravid she's only about 6" o.o she was being a little piggy when the body shot was taken (several weeks prior to her other 2 up there).
She is using them normally, sorry it took me longer to get back on here then I thought. I have emailed a vet and I am waiting for a reply back from them again. She's been moving around and eating/drinking normally, so I'm not fully sure what could have caused her to react this way at all. But...
